Over the past month, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with Family Office principals, founders, advisors, institutional investors, and industry leaders through workshops, conferences, interviews, and one-on-one conversations.
Although every discussion was different, many returned to the same themes.
How do we prepare the next generation?
How do we preserve trust as families grow more complex?
How do we deploy capital with greater intention?
And perhaps most importantly, how do we build relationships that create value over decades, not just investment opportunities?
This month’s newsletter brings together a few of those conversations, along with resources, upcoming events, and insights I hope you’ll find valuable.
Featured Insights
This month, I’m sharing two recent resources from ISS Market Intelligence that build on many of the conversations I’m hearing across the Family Office community.

How to Approach a Family Office Without Pitching Your Deal
During a recent Family Office Access Workshop hosted by ISS Market Intelligence, experts shared a practical framework for building relationships before, during, and after Family Office events. In this recap of the workshop, we explore how success doesn’t come from delivering the perfect pitch, but from earning the opportunity for a second conversation.

Why Family Offices Are Increasingly Looking to the Private Markets
Demand for secondary opportunities in companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX continues to grow as Family Offices seek access to category-defining businesses before they reach the public markets.
I recently shared my perspective with Chief Investment Officer magazine on why many Family Offices increasingly view these companies not simply as technology investments, but as long-term platforms that could reshape industries ranging from artificial intelligence and defense to infrastructure and global economic influence.

Family Office & Private Wealth Legacy Summit | August 25–27 | The Hamptons, NY
One of the conferences I’m most looking forward to this month is the Opal Family Office & Private Wealth Legacy Summit in The Hamptons.
I’ll be joining a panel on:
When Business Is Personal: Mastering Relationship Management in Family Offices
This topic is especially meaningful to me because so much of what I’ve learned over the years has reinforced one simple truth: trust is built long before anyone discusses an investment.
If you’ll be attending, I’d love to connect.

Member Spotlight
One of my favorite parts of this community is highlighting members who are doing thoughtful work across the Family Office ecosystem.
This month, I’m delighted to feature Papi (PJ) DiNuzzo, MBA, MSTx, CPA, PFS—President of DiNuzzo Private Wealth, Inc., founder of Papi MindsetCoach™, bestselling author, Humanity Catalyst Speaker, and featured cast member in Think and Grow Rich – The Movie (2026). Since founding his wealth management firm in 1989, Papi has built a nationally recognized practice serving clients in more than 30 states and managing over $1.27 billion in assets.
I wanted to highlight Papi this month because he reminds us that wealth isn’t simply about financial outcomes. It’s also about the character we build, the relationships we invest in, and the legacy we leave behind.
Many of our members will recognize Papi from his previous Family Office Access MasterClass and his keynote presentations at JABOY Productions events. I’ve also had the opportunity to experience one of his guided beach meditation sessions. What consistently stands out is his ability to help people slow down, reflect, and become more intentional about the thoughts, habits, relationships, and priorities shaping their lives.
Through Papi MindsetCoach™, REJUVENATION Retreats, private training, and his Inner-Circle Mastermind, Papi helps entrepreneurs, business leaders, and enterprising families align wealth, mindset, faith, and purpose to create lasting impact.
His philosophy is simple:
Helping people move from profit to purpose, and from success to significance.
“I joined Family Office Access because it is one of the few communities where conversations about wealth naturally include purpose, legacy, and the responsibility that comes with both. Those are the conversations that matter most to me.”

If you’d like to learn more about Papi’s work or be introduced, I’d be happy to make the connection.
Thank you for being part of the Family Office Access community.
The conversations, introductions, and ideas many of you share throughout the year continue to shape our research, programming, and the resources we create for this community.
Warm regards,

Danielle Patterson
Executive Director of Family Office
